born near brussels and moving near the countryside soon after, most of my life has been exposed under the comfortable arms of nostalgia. these experiences together with my love of mathematics would inspire me to venture in the arts, with the COVID-19 pandemic being the catalyst of it all. free time in my hands, i began learning about the internet and what it means to make music. whilst it was very difficult and formed into depressive periods of my life, today feel very proud to still breathe and feel comfortable sharing what i like most doing. other art-related activities that i do in my spare time include making photography (especially with my thrifted polaroid camera), acrylic painting, and doodling both on paper and digitally. after music became something i was interested in studying (wanted to become an architect and a botanist earlier), music reviewing started becoming a new hobby, and that's where i've met most of my friends today.

my first ep, made in a month with a logic pro trial period. this project showcase how much i've really improved over the next couple records. my indie pop phase will never be forgotten.

made it in 30 minutes when i was feeling depressed, the sound effects were added to exemplify this feeling. now it's my most popular song to date. depression sells i suppose.

probably my most beautifully arranged track. i love it with all my heart. it's what 2020-me would have wanted to create back when he started creating, and am glad we got to here.

nostalgia hit me like a ton of bricks at the start of the year. remembered one day when a friend i haven't seen since 2021 gave me a song file, so i remixed it. we started talking again after the release.

wanted to make a compagion piece to my first ep, so recorded voice notes of me performing most of the tracks from the ep. that's what you hear on streaming, unmixed.

much like memory pool, most of the tracks are shallow and somber much like how i was feeling at the time. whilst i like the sound design on this ep, am glad i'm just not depressed anymore.

my favorite track from my first ep in a new jacket. it was nice to redo the track with the skills i learned along the way. the lyricism though could've been a little bit better.

a sweet and tender collection of tracks i made in the span of a few years that truly reflect on how far i've gone, and it's a good reminder that life turns out for the best after all.

made for my school's talent show, this was the second song that i considered performing for it. i like the vibe it goes for, but if i had more time to finish it, i would've done that.

made for the now-defunct noise label Polarize. unironically the turning point in my entire music career. made with instruments i haven't played before and styles i haven't tried. it's awesome !

6 songs of completely different styles, reflecting the story of a lonesome dragon not knowing in which world he belongs, as a monster with no shape. aspects of my life are reflected in it.

history
i started reviewing music in my free time using notes around 2021 to catalog what i listened to, but after some time this process became tiresome and made me lose interest in listening to new material. at some point browsing youtube, i came across streamer Brad Taste in Music. a semi-popular and somewhat controversial figure, he showcased AOTY a lot on his streams, and seeing him talk positively about the website made me join it as well. i had an earlier account around 2022, but started from scratch on march 11 2023, which is when i created my current account.
